Yom Ha'Atzmaut 2016 Celebration at Congregation Ahavath Sholom

Wow! What a great party! Over 300 hundred Tarrant County Jewish community members came out to Congregation Ahavath Sholom on Sunday to celebrate Israel. שולי ומשה דיין (Shuli and Moshe Dayan), Moti Yeger, and Marom Mor put on a great show and had people up out of their seats dancing and singing. Two dozen community organizations participated in the first ever Community Shuk and really demonstrated how varied and vibrant our Jewish community is. Special thank you to event co-chairs Rachel Yaacobi and David Nudleman for all of your hard work and also to Congregation Ahavath Sholom for being such a gracious host. Thank you to all of the volunteers that helped set up the event, who participated in the opening ceremony, and to all the organizations that participated in the shuk.

The event was sponsored by The Jewish Federation of Fort Worth and Tarrant County will financial support from the Dan Danciger/Fort Worth Hebrew Day School Supporting Foundation.
