We all enjoyed a fantastic Partnership2Gether weekend hosting Hedi Pusztai and Andras Mayer from Budapest, Hungary who brought the documentary film, Tales of Teleki Square to screen at The Stayton and Beth-El Congregation. They enjoyed meeting young leaders during an ‘Around the Table’ social on Saturday night, riding horses at Benbrook Stables, touring the Stockyards, The Fort Worth Museum of Modern Art, Magnolia Street and finished their weekend with at the Lazer Lloyd show at Shipping and Receiving.
Tales of Teleki Square is a documentary about the last running prayer room in Budapest after the war. Before the war, this neighborhood had over 60,000 Jews residing in it and around 50 or more prayer rooms. This documentary is about the discovery and revitalization of this small Teleki synagogue and it’s community’s past and future.
Thank you to all who participated in the planning, hosting and events - we’re grateful to all our volunteers for making it special and welcoming! Please add your photos too!
